Poker Rake Structure

Entraction uses a weighted contributed rake system. One VIP point is rewarded for each €0.50, which has been contributed in rake. When a player bets money into the pot, he/she also contributes an amount into the rake. The amount of VIP-points awarded to the player per hand is based on the player’s contribution into the pot and consequently into the rake. If the player’s rake contribution is less than €0.50, then the player is awarded with the partial VIP-points.

The maximum rake, which can be taken from the pot is €3, thus the player can earn up to 3 VIP-points per hand. The players that do not contribute any money into the pot are not rewarded with any VIP-points.
These two requirements must be fulfilled to get a “raked hand”:

• The player should have put money in the pot in any way. Voluntary, by posting a blind or an ante.
• Rake should be taken from the pot. For example if it’s no flop in Texas Hold’em no rake is taken.

Our FunMoney games are all free of charge. If you play for real money a small charge, which is called rake, is taken from the pot. Only pots where a flop is dealt in Texas or Omaha, a third card is dealt in Soko, a fourth card is dealt in 7-stud or a draw is made in 5-Draw and 2-7 Triple Draw are raked. Only players who are dealt cards (active players) are counted as being seated.

NO LIMIT, POT LIMIT, ½POT LIMIT, FIXED LIMIT AND SPREAD LIMIT:

€0.01 in rake for each €0.20 in the pot and capped at €0.75 for 2 players seated, €2.00 for 3 players and €3.00 for 4-10 players. For pots between €0.20 and €0.39 the rake is €0.02.

Example:

€1/2 NL Texas, 6 players get dealt cards. Player A puts €1 into the pot, Player B puts €2 into the pot, Player C puts €40 into the pot and Player D puts €40 into the pot. Players E and F fold. The pot is €83 and the rake is €3.

Player A has contributed €1/€83 = 1.2% of the pot = €0.036 in rake ~ 0.07 VIP points
Player B has contributed €2/€83 = 2.4% of the pot = €0.072 in rake ~ 0.14 VIP points
Player C has contributed €40/€83 = 48.2% of the pot = €1.446 in rake ~ 2.90 VIP points
Player D has contributed €40/€83 = 48.2% of the pot = €1.446 in rake ~ 2.90 VIP points
Player E has contributed €0/€83 = 0.0% of the pot = €0.000 in rake ~ 0.00 VIP points
Player F has contributed €0/€83 = 0.0% of the pot = €0.000 in rake ~ 0.00 VIP points

VIP points are also awarded for participation in tournaments. If you participate in a scheduled multi-table tournament or a Sit & Go you will receive 1 VIP point for each €0.50 paid in tournament fee.

No VIP points will be awarded, if VIP points are used to settle the tournament buy-in cost.
